The information the public has been very poor, apart from the presentations performed in Plaza Sotomayor, nobody has any idea that there are exhibitions and lectures. The main objective of the Forum of Cultures is to raise awareness about the importance of public spaces for cultural use of it, social cohesion and quality of life for city dwellers. However, paradoxically, there has been a promotion open to the public.

Apparently there is great ignorance on the part of our authorities on these topics: Identity, Culture, Heritage, efficient management, globalization. Chile insists on wanting to appear as a global nation celebrating Halloween, but what really matters to belong to this totality, look to their own culture through the protection of heritage and promotion of their identity, there is a clear political vision to regard. It is the only way that means the failure to follow suit. Ignorance!
Given all this and existing development plans ongoing promotional , calls to these issues in everyday conversation ourselves, the locals.
We must go beyond our enthusiasm to sing with emotion, "The Jewel of the Pacific." Should we require that heritage projects are carried out to address the money well, that looks to Valparaiso as it really is: a city that boasts the title having beautiful cities recognized as the most beautiful in the world: Florence , Cairo, Venice, Cuzco, Quito, Prague.
